Heh. Really, though, four years is a long time--and yet, hardly any time at all. In the same amount of time from now, I will be...THIRTY. (Can you tell I've been dwelling on this a bit in the past few weeks?) Hopefully he and I will still be chugging along together.

Anyway, we haven't decided what to do for l'anniversaire de l'amour, but it will have to be something cheap. D: The constraints of time and daylight and weather make it a bit more difficult (why couldn't he have made a move in early October?).

Four years. Really. Huh. Maybe it's an unrecognized blessing that I don't feel nearly as old as I really am?

Also I finally got to Angra Mainyu in FFX-2 and after an hour I KICKED ITS ASS. My proudest moment.

I suppose it is worth mentioning for the record that today--right now, in fact--we are getting quite a lot of snow. And I burned my fingers on some steam and have to wear onions on them like band-aids.

I wish Casey Boo were here, or I were in Whiteford, so I could watch her running around in the snow like a crazy thing.

I was thinking, "There's something strangely familiar about Apollo's face. What is it?" So I wikipedia-ed his actor and OMG. Richard Hatch, who played the Galactica 1978's Apollo, does Tom Zarek in the modern one!!! That is so funny! It must have been so cool, AND weird, to be a totally different character in the same series! The remake, like 20 something years later!

Today was so awesome. XD

I went to morning training but no one was there! O_o! Then Khoa (pronounced Kwa) came in 5 mins late, and we warmed up, did uchikaeshi take downs (exchange punch into take downs and defense) for a while. Then Abe-san, Shichi-san, and H-san came in late. We did more uchikaeshi, blocks, returns, and then MMA sparring with open-finger gloves! We never spar with those gloves, so I was really surprised. But for me, that's the funnest part of MMA! :D So I had a blast!!!

Shichi-san was really going hard ^^:;; At one point, I got poked in the eye, but I got a sweet hook straight combo, so I was happy.

At one point, when I was sparring Khoa, we BOTH went for the super-man punch at the same time. XD lol they both hit, too! It was so funny.




I enjoyed Khoa's company for lunch, and then I went to the gym and lifted weights. PUMP IT UP, BABY!!! Then I got one of the nice Gold's Gym staff guys to explain how I should be lifting weights, and make me a plan. He explained really well, and I could understand. He taught me how to do everything properly.

He was really nice. XD I want him to explain it to me all over again. (LOL) My bad memory wouldn't be a good excuse, though. hah So then I ate anago (eel) and a carrot and piriamakonyaku, and a snack called 'ROXY' as a post-workout snack. XD
